Serpentia

In the beginning there was a serpant. She created the rivers and valleys, gorges and mountains with her body as she slithered across the land. The milk from her breasts spilled into rivers, lakes and creeks. Grasses and trees and shrubs grew from land that was once barren and desolate.

She is the be all and end all. She gave life, so too she can take it away.

I heard these tales, her tales; the words that fell from her scales and into the mouths of the anscestors, into their voices, their songs, into their very blood.

They told me who I was and whom I was meant to be. And they whispered so softly I almost missed it....

Don't fuck with the snake.
